The Blog Writing Kit

Free blog title generator

Enter a keyword and the reader you are writing for, and this generator builds more than twenty title options from editorial formulas editors actually use — how-tos, lists, comparisons, mistakes and checklists. Every title uses your own words. None invents a statistic, a year or a result you have not got.

Runs in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, sent to a server or stored anywhere except this device. This tool is template- and rule-based — it does not use generative AI, and it will never invent a fact for your post.

Your topic

Star (★) the titles worth keeping — the favourites list is saved on this device only, so a shortlist survives a closed tab.

Titles Copied

Worked example

Ran with the starting values above — keyword raise your freelance writing rates, audience freelance writers — the first options include “How to Raise your freelance writing rates: a step-by-step guide for freelance writers” (85 characters, long — a candidate for trimming), “The honest raise your freelance writing rates guide: costs, trade-offs and results”, and “What nobody tells freelance writers about raise your freelance writing rates”. Notice what is absent: no “2026”, no percentage, no promised income. If a figure belongs in your title, it has to come from your own work.

The method

How it works

  1. Start from a real search phrase. A title built on the words a reader types will always outwork a clever title built on words only you use.
  2. Formulas, not magic. Each option applies a proven editorial shape — a step-by-step promise, a mistakes warning, a checklist — to your keyword and audience. That is why every title stays honest: the shape changes, your facts do not.
  3. Check the length before you fall in love. The character count beside each title is the same count a search result will truncate. Shorter is rarely worse.

What this tool does not do

  • It does not check search volume or competition — no browser tool honestly can without a data feed.
  • It does not invent statistics, dates or results to make a title punchier. That part stays yours.
  • A formula is a starting shape, not a finished headline. Read the winner aloud and cut two words.

Blog Title Generator questions

It builds more than twenty options from your keyword, audience, angle and tone, using editorial formulas — step-by-step guides, listicles, comparisons, mistake warnings and checklists. Change the angle and the mix changes with it, because a comparison post and a how-to post should not be titled the same way.
Yes. Every title shows its character count as you type, so you can see the ones a search result would cut off. There is no magic number that guarantees a title survives intact on every screen, but shorter titles truncate less, and the count lets you judge the trade-off yourself.
No, and the page says so. It is template-based: proven headline shapes filled with your own keyword and audience. Nothing is sent to a server, no model is called, and no statistic is invented to dress a title up. What you get is a fast shortlist, not a machine-written headline.
